    Recmech.
Welcome to the Family. Great choice of bikes. But if you already bought them the only advice you need is your own. You can tell us all what you think of the steeds. But there is a lot of people would love you choice.

Hi Recmech, nice bike's and a nice part of the world ! I'm an ex VM myself. A year older than your good self. I own a long term 09 America and live a short distance south of you (Northam WA) what units did you serve in, I did a year at RTC Bandiana then Brisbane 1 Base WKSPS and Tech Support 1 FD Artillery then Sydney 2nd Cav Regt, then changed Corps to avoid back to back postings in Puckapunyal !! Went to TPT Corps.
Been a resident of this good state and Northam for last 26 year's, I have owned Triumphs since 1984.
As Dozers Dad said nice work on the RAEME ! Badge ...
Not many Aussie member's on here and I don't recall any being or owning up to being ex military.

    Cheers capt

The RAEME badge is almost the same as the REME badge ! My Father was in REME for 24 years and I was RAEME for 10 and a bit of the 20 years served in Australian Army. Both services very similar in standards and performance !
As there were ex British REME guys in some Aussie units, I met some of them, can't remember name's but do recall Sgt's and WO's being the most common exchange ex REME service men.

Welcome mate. I was in WA last year to see my old Navy mate in Perth. The time before I was there was whilst serving in the Royal Navy in '83.
