i nipped into b&Q today on the bike, when i refitted my Zumo on to the bike i obviously didn't click it in properly and 500yds down the road i saw it flying off and bouncing down the road behind me :eek:,luckily there was no traffic, so i stopped and collected it expecting it to be knackered but to my amazement there wasn't a scratch on it and it worked perfectly :):):)

Lucky indeed but I must confess I've been close to taking a hammer to mine at times when it screws up just once too often ;)

Mine did the same in Wales a couple of weeks ago. Was doing about 70,looked down and it was gone. My mate behind saw it go, said it hit a car, bounced, then span in the road. By the time I'd got back he'd found it. The screen went squiffy for a while but I turned it off for a while, turned it back on and it's been fine. Scared but working

The rubber casing obviously does its job :) i was only doing 30 and it seemed to ping up in the air first then bounced umteen times on the road,i'll make sure it clicks into position in future

Just bought one so it's good to know they are tough because mine is bound to fly past me at some point!
