I've been using Waze on my phone - OK for taking the dull route but not good for planned routes - can't set routes or import GPX.

Also Calimoto - the route-planning is awful but you can import GPX. But it is so dumb - if you miss a waypoint it forever insists you go back and pass through it, even when you're back on the exact route past the waypoint.

So I've been looking for something better. The Garmin zūmo® XT - any good?

I've read in another thread that I can plot a route on laptop and import it to the satnav... but Is it smart about waypoints?

Can it use my smartphone for traffic congestion data and route around it? Do I have to pay extra for that?

Will it tell me about speed cameras? I have to pay for that, right? How much?

    Cheers,
    Dave

I purchased one this past summer. It is better then i expected. You can out in your destination and hit the curves button Magical
