So, I just got a Garmin 595LM which is outstanding. It is just so well built, works as a motorcycle GPS should and install looks clean and sleek.

That said, the 595 does support the Garmin TPMS system. These require steel valve stems. Our RS stems are painted black, but they feel like steel to me, which makes sense due to the 90-degree bend anyway.

I'm wondering if any of you have tried them? I've looked at Triumps offering, but they are more than 2x the price and the batteries are non-replaceable, while the Garmins are.

Just curious if anyone has tried them, specifically on the Speed, and what they think of TPMS in general? Generally I've always used my own gauge before every ride, but thought these might be an option since I've already invested in the GPS.
