Today I had an appointment at my Triumph dealer at 0800 hours. Therefore I left my home for the 100 kilometres ride at 0630. The temperature at my start was 3 degrees celsius. To reach my dealer I had to ride two times above the altitude of 1.000 metres. In those mountainous parts of my way it was a bit frosty but it never went under 1 degree celsius. The road conditions were acceptable, mostly wet, but I had to ride carefully due to possible icy parts. In some areas I was riding through heavy fog. I reached my dealer without any issues. There my pre-ordered pannier-set was mounted on my Rocket. As always I got a great price reduction from them. The mounting time was about half an hour. This time I used to walk through my dealers shop and there I saw some really nice looking bikes!
The pannier mount equipment was reduced and I had not to pay for the complete mounting. Another great deal! The set looks great and gives the possibility to carry 25 liters in each pannier. For our upcoming rides it will be great. Today I was also able to use my two locks which I received when I bought my Rocket. Info: A Rocket is delivered with two pannier locks when you buy one; independently from buying an additional pannier set.
As you may have expected my Rocket locked again like a dirt-bike after the second 100 kilometres ride back home. Therefore I took my Rocket to a self-service carwash and cleaned it intensively. Now my "new" Rocket is locked into our garage because winter is coming back to our area for the next days. :confounded:

    Some impressions:

The pannier-mount in detail. In my opinion it is not destroying the great look of the Rocket and it is very functional too!

That's a very neat and attractive set up! Is it Triumph or aftermarket?
