    Hello,

I have a 2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. Recently, while getting some accessories installed at a local mechanic's shop, the mechanic noticed some movement in my front brake rotor while inflating the tires. He asked if I do stoppies, to which I said no. I do perform wheelies occasionally. The mechanic mentioned that such movement shouldn't be there.

However, many online forums suggest that a little movement is normal for fully floating rotors, as it helps with heat dissipation. I also checked with another rider who has the same model, and his front rotors are very stiff.

I'm now unsure whether the mechanic's observation is correct or if the information from the forums is accurate.

    Additional Information:

    • The local mechanic only cleans my bike and fills the tires; he doesn't perform maintenance work.
Could anyone share their thoughts to help clear up my confusion? I've attached a few videos for reference.

They are designed like that, it's nothing to worry about.
