Hi all I'm having problems getting the collars off my speed twin I'm fitting a tec parts pipe, I have watched the thurxton videos but the speed twin has a balance pipe connecting both sides of the front exhaust and thecollars wont go over the threads ,do you need to completely take off both front side most of the job is done but I'm stuck theres just not enough play to pull the side out of the cat or to disconnect from the link,balance pipe.
Although it's a Street Twin, this video if you haven't already seen it, might show you something helpful.
Thank you I checked it out I was wrong about the link pipe and the thurxton I was losing the will to live lol I managed to get it sorted thanks everything is done expect torguing up the frame bolts
Has it made much difference to performance , do you think it pops and bangs more on the overrun now ?. i must admit it isn't the easiest task it took me a good 4 hrs to fit.
