A bit disappointed to discover the front brake splitter on my 17 Thruxton S is badly corroded. The front brake hoses only have SS banjos on the wheel end, frame end is mild steel and the splitter is also mild steel. My bike has just reached 11,000k, is never ridden in the rain, is pampered and polished and housed in an internal garage in a temperate climate. While the flex hoses should be a simple fix with SS braided lines, sorting out the rigid line is going to be a bit of a pain and there is no way I am going to buy a 'Premium' part from Triumph to have it fail in another two to three years.
Give these people an email. They helped me replace all of these blocks/fittings for my hayabusa abs system a few years ago and were extremely helpful https://www.helperformance.com/hose-and-fittings/brake-and-clutch/brackets-and-blocks or https://www.helperformance.com/contact
