Frame Paint Tip

i recently scraped my 2011 speedy frame while using my abbastand,bikepaints an eBay seller sell charcoal black touch up kit its a great colour match (£12ish),i applied it but it was flat i.e no texture like frame has so cut a small toothbrush down and applied 2nd coat then dabbed the paint using the cut down brush good result for not much cash.
