    Hi,

    Genuine Triumph for brace for 1200 Thruxton S for £60, seems a decent price, but do they really do anything?

    I personally don’t feel much flex from the front on the road, if you were racing it’s possible you may get a bit.
    I would imagine it’s more of a visual custom part rather than necessary, but at the end of the day it wouldn’t hurt the bike to fit it

    Agree, even the RWU forks are pretty strong these days. The fork brace was a useful accessory in the 80’s when forks were made of spaghetti.

    Yep, I was thinking back to the 80's when they were quite common as well. Probably more of a cosmetic thing now.
