OK, a FNG here but a long time Triumph rider. Started in the mid '60's with a Triumph Tiger Cub. Lucas electrics and Whitworth wrenches. That built character. Those days are over now, thank God.
Hello Buzzard and welcome to the forum Similar to myself started riding on the road in 1966 and on a Tiger Cub also.
Thanks Tiglet. '66 was my year too. The best thing about the Cub was riding sideways in the dirt. That taught me a lot. And helped me survive on the street. Saved my butt a number of times.
I now have a strange mental image of a delinquent buzzard riding a Tiger Cub at speed - sideways. WEIRD!! Makes Steve McQueen jumping his bike over a barbed wire fence look positively unremarkable. Ah well, not to worry. Nursey is due soon with my meds. I think I need 'em!
No Steve. I was not a delinquent until I rode my 305 Yamaha, sans muffler, through the first floor hallway of my high school during the senior class play. Then there was the golf course incident where I did play Steve McQueen. That is another story.
Welcome to the madhouse you should fit right in. To keep the inmates happy we will need photos. Tucker
Welcome in to a fellow hooligan! First Motorcycle I ever rode was a Tiger Cub trials bike, I was 11 and addicted instantly!
