Firtst Ride First impressions

    Like the grunt, like its gentle, love the popping when you shut off throttle!
    Seems to be a bit strange to start when warm? some throttle or no throttle? surely you dont need to pull out choke again?
    Will take a while getting used to no Tacho!
    Handles well & first time in alot of years I didnt put ear plugs in! Kinda liked it!
    Ordered Knee pads

    Hi mate, i too recently bought a Bonnevile, an 08 carb model, after waaaay to many years on Jap inline fours. As long as you don't expect it to do what the Jap stuff does, i'm sure you will love your new bike. I think mine is the dogs bollox, i also still have a Kawasaki ZRX1100 for those days when the devils horns pop out :eek: but, that is up for sale now, Triumph all the way for me :upyeah:
    Stick with it, it will grow, and grow on you !

    Think its a keeper, its got character! unlike alot of modern bikes ive had. Maybe louder pipes next year! (now skint!)
