First happy customer got his 765 Street Triple RS reprogrammed with the Hilltop Magic just now. Graph attached for your enjoyment. Having read nothing but good things about this bike I asked him to let me run it up the road and he kindly agreed. All I can say is what a f*cking epic bike! Everything about it is perfect, bar the lack of any wind protection, which would kill it for me as a daily ride sadly. It's just so, so good in so many ways! If you're even half interested go and have a go on one. If you don't enjoy it then you're dead inside!
OMG just look at that torque increase at the bottom end. Fantastic work guys, really thinking about having the speedie done next year.
Hi Mate, yes you can post it to us no problem at all and you'll get the same results. I'll attached the details here.
I am sure the Speed Triple R 2016 can be improved, in that there is a surge of power at 6,000 rpm With a bit of tweaking I bet the torque could be smoothed out with more in the the lower revs. Will wait for it to complete the 2year warranty first, then see about ECU mapping. I would love to be able to access the ECU with TuneECU but seems this can't be done.
Hilltop very impressive dyno run To be clear though what else was done to the bike prior or is it all stock?
Once the Bonnie is how I want it, a trip to Hilltop is due. IIRC, there's a hefty discount if you're a repeat customer as well
@Hilltop Could I help me? I'm Japanese MotoGymkhana rider. I bought Streettriple 765 RS. I plan to use this bike for this race from next year. For this race, I need to add some modification points and it's main portion is ECU remap. I find the way in japan but there is no information. What I could find was only this thread. I need information about remap of 765. >changing portion. / idle speed up / remove fuel cut set( close accelerator) / Stop monitoring some censers / down the temperature of starting radiator fan timing Could you help me? About MotoGyokhana, please refer this video. sample 1 sample 2
@Stuart Higgs you might want to do a trawl around this site and the internet? The reviews of Hilltop vary widely Ive got to admit the dyno graphs offered at the startof this thread do look tempting.
Thank you for the advice, iv lloked all over but I don't know where to go, I saw another place in Kent, can a remap damage the bike? Do you also need a power commander?
As I understand it they are two different methods to create a similar outcome; Power commander creates a map to supplement or replace the ecu map. Hilltop supposedly create some sort of partition to hold their map and the Triumph factory cant see it so any software upgrades etc. doesnt overwrite it. I suppose the issue is if nobody can see it how do you know its not all smoke and mirrors without having some careful testing. It does look very impressive on the graphs but dyno graphs could be created by Accountants as they can be made to read whatever the paying person wants them to read and what he/she wants the audience to see!!!! I'd want a before and after graph on MY bike with both runs witnessed by me and none of this manipulating the throttle malarkey on the initial run.
I think I'll just focus on becoming a more competent rider and leave the RS stock as its a giant slayer anyways, just book some time at Ron haslams race school, better investment I think. Regards stu
