    Hi all.
I've posted about this before and after going to Twitter to complain about slow service regarding my warranty and a bike that starts without a key, the guys at the factory took my explorer into the factory to sort it all out. I also had some gear issues.
Anyhoo, they changed the ignition relay and some gear related things.. the bike however, still starts without a key.
The gear issue is resolved thanks to them.

So, I posted this today for Freddy, my contact at the factory to listen to:

The bike stays on when I take the key out (I've other videos demonsrating this on ym account), but there's a 'whiring' I've never noticed before.

Freddy doesn't have sound on his work PC, so can't listen. However, my bike still starts without a key and when it's off (and I hit the kil switch to kill the dash) I still hear s'thing until I disconnect the battery. It's going back to the factory tomorrow but I'm off on a 2 month Scandinavia camping trip and need the bike working. What could any of theser symptoms mean??

TL;DR: Bike starts without a key, and even when off via kill swtich, I still hear 'whiring'... thoughts?

What I'm about to say may be complete bollox, so excuse me if it is.

Modern ECU-controlled engines take time to "go to sleep" after being turned off - my Jag for instance takes up to 30 mins before all the electronics are in the 'Arms of Morpheus'. Maybe what you are hearing is the powering down of the various electronic systems?
