Sorry if this is a duplication, I’m new to the forum, and to Triumphs. I recently purchased a 2014 1200 Explorer, after nearly 20 years on a VFR800. I am now hearing noises that I don’t recognise. The bike has 22000 miles on here and has been dealer serviced throughout. When at low speed, or idle there is a distinct rattle from the engine in the barrel / top end area ( I think). She runs like a dream, smooth and pulls like a train, and seems quiet once on the go. Is this normal ? Am I just hearing things after a life with gear driven cams ? Any help would be much appreciated Cheers Rob
