Hey guys! Picked up my new speed triple yesterday, 2017 model. I have to say, I really like the standard exhaust on there, they are bulky but they go very well with the bike.... To which I come to my point. Which aftermarket exhaust would people recommend? Or is there any way I can take the baffles out of the standard one? Any feedback would be good guys from personal experience or from somebody else's bike you have heard/seen! Thanks Van
Ahh that looks so nice mate! Is it a full system or a slip? If you don't mind me asking how much did it set you back?
Thanks for the link darkman! So that exhaust will fit even though I've got a 16-17 model? I have to say the SC project ones seem very good value for money and they look very nice as well!
My pipe was listed for the 15 but bolted straight on Yes the SC cans are very good price wise and quality is very good.
I've got the same dilemma I like the look of the standard cans way too much! Just would like a bit more noise out of them if I'm honest.. In regards to the tail tidy... I've already dealt with that issue I think it looks pretty neat went for a smaller number plate also
SC Project slip on installed today. The sound is amazing!!! Sounds like a V-twin. Here is a video with great sound clip. Go to minute 6:25 and 8:10.
I have the scorpion serket carbon low boy. Rebadged tho... Now, instead of all that nasty red slowing her down, we have this... Magnificent in her yellowyness. She eclipses all. Sounds good, and with the arrow tune installed, coughs, farts, and burbles like a good un on the over-run. Mate us the sc project titanium on his street. Work of art it is. Atb Bob
I have to say the arrow looks much nicer than the scorpion on there haha! I think I'm going to go for the sc project ones. Do you reckon there's any way of taking the baffles out the stock ones? Van
Not sure mate, not really studied them up close. Sure you won't be disappointed with the sc project, the workmanship in my mates can is superb. No matter what make you put on, the weight saving is incredible. I'd go low boy every time, but tastes are different, each to their own. Don't forget the piccies when done. Atb Bob
Another vote for the low boy here. it gets rid of the Cat on mine. I prefer the baffles in to avoid attracting too much attention round here.
I have to say I agree I don't want the bike to be too loud as I live in London and those scumbags who nick bikes would probably hear it from a mile away! The dealer was offering the low boy arrow to me for £550 that's brand new as well. I'm still scratching my head wether to go for the low boy or just get some slip ons for the under seat cans Van
£550.... snap dealers hand off,if he can offer at that price when it's £1000+ what'll he do the slip-ons for?
The slip ons are the same price but only because the slip ons are euro 4 compliant! Whereas the low boy isn't and triumph can't be seen to be selling it at full price because they wouldn't be complying! (Well this is what the salesman told me anyway) I have to say a lot of people have been saying £600 for the full system is a bargain and I'm considering going there to pick one up!
I have to add that he was giving me a bit of a discount on the full price but I don't think it was far off of £600 if you was to walk into the shop and buy one!
