Had to wait until it cooled down this evening (if 27C can be considered cool) before venturing out on the Tiger. The back-lit switches are a welcome addition and the Triumph Connectivity sat-nav worked no problem at all. It's a basic system with just a direction arrow indicating your next turn or a roundabout symbol with the exit number shown, plus countdown to turn, road name, ETA and distance to go. (Yes, I do live off Christmas Hill)
Beautiful, Steve! That new bike is pretty good looking, too. Interesting info, impressions, and pics of the Triumph Connectivity system as well. Thanks!
Yes, a great picture Steve and lovely looking bike. You ventured along the (Police patrolled) A272 yet on the new bike?
In all fairness Jez, you might have lost your soul to riding but ffs don’t ever loose your mental humour as there’s just no one with anything close on here!! E
Not yet! I tend to avoid the A272/A32 on weekends - too many crotch rockets trying to make as much noise as possible and congregating on Loomies!
Nice one Steve, every time I see that bike I get a pang of jealousy! I’m probably going to do the same with Tracey tonight. As the Triumph satnav thing works so well will you be selling your Garmin? I might know someone who needs a decent one mind you he won’t pay a lot!
Nice pics Steve but there's one missing and that's the plate full of fried food. You on a diet or what ?
Cheers mate - I suppose I do have a spare Garmin satnav now - any poor pensioner out there want to buy one that works? He may not have paid a lot but he didn't half moan about it!
Thanks Andy - I agree about the food but not much open at that time of the evening. Kebab van anyone?
the road heading north out of Overton can be pleasant, there's a nice long straight bit passing the farm
