Some of these comps demand large capacity engines.....and are on slopes where you eventually lose both traction and momentum.

Looked fun, I remember running up sand dunes on bikes with paddle tires in 78-82. Due to the short range a good application for an electric bike maybe as it looked like some sections you needed slow than bring on the power. But then again grip and flip
