    Hi guys,
Last time out on my Daytona Centennial, the engine fault light came on although everything seemed fine. Even after three heat cycles it stayed on. I discovered that the reg/rec had failed as the battery wasn’t charging so I’ve replaced that and checked that the battery is now charging which it is but the fault light is still on. I’ve only done the one heat cycle since doing so.
My question is; would the reg/rec cause the fault light to come on or is it likely to be something else. ?
Any light shed on this greatly appreciated
    Cheers

Ahh….. The question has just been answered. After posting, editing with additional info, I started the bike up and left it running while doing a bit of weeding, went back to it when I hear the fan cut in and the light has gone out..
    Turned out nice again
