I can't remember, does the America have a rev counter? If it does, what speed does it tick-over at?

Hi no it has not got a rev counter.Idle appears ok when warm.Needs choke to keep idle up whilst warming.Seems to spit and stall if trying to pull away gently.needs a qiute a few revs on to make sure she doesnt stall when pulling away.A bike mechanic told me yesterday that he has heard of a mod that was available.

If that's on a cold engine, it sounds quite normal to me. If it's on a warm engine I would adjusting up the tickover speed a little. You do that using the black knurled knob underneath the cold start control. Ad just the tickover on a warm engine.
