My spouse decided to return to riding pillion after I purchased my single seat Thruxton. Further wallet emptying required to purchase the dual seat. It slots on similarly to the original. Rear pegs took 10 minutes after I had dropped the ball bearings a few times.
Easy job even for a spanner imbecile like me.
After a test ride, I declare it a comfortable improvement but an aesthetic backwards step. I just hope she now chooses to climb aboard or the dual seat will be for sale here soon!

I’ve got a dual seat on my Thruxton S and find it v comfortable and like the look but I don’t have the fairing on mine. Either way it’s a great looking bike!

I am sure she will. That way she can keep her eye on you and have as much fun as you.

If the Mrs doesn't make use of it don't worry, you now have a place to strap down some luggage and head of on an adventure. I'd call that a win win :p
