Don't Read If Top Cases Offend You

Goods news for anyone like me who has a 2018 Speedie RS and needs a top case. SW-Motech now has a Street Rack that fits the 2018-19 RS.

Here is the States, Twisted Throttle has just added it to their catalog.

I know a top case on a ST offends some of you, but for a daily commuter like me convenience supersedes aesthetics. Now I am only waiting for a three to one low boy exhaust for the RS and I will be content (for at least a little while).

 

I'd love to see some pics when you've got it all setup. One with and without the case.

Presently I commute with an Oigo Mach 5 as it fits what I need + work laptop but I like options/ideas.

Ignore the gits that think your bike is their bike...

 

Your wish is my command. I should get it in 4 weeks or so. I'll post before and after photos.

 

Would love to see some pics .... I have previously strapped a dry-bag onto the pillion seat on my naked bikes but for a longer trip and stability I could be tempted with something like this and remove it for the other 90% of the time

 

I'm only offended because I have to wait 4 damn weeks to see pics!

 

The good thing about SW-Motech racks is that after removing the box and the top plate the 'rack' portion and the rest of the permanent fixtures are reasonably small and unobtrusive.

 

I do like a top box, pig ugly but soooo useful.

However I just can’t bring myself to fit one on my ST, just seems wrong.

 

I have the Mach 5 as well. Love it.

 

Smug Honda NC owners have a frunk which removes all need for a top box - it will take a large Shoei helmet.

 

But who on earth would be seen dead on one? Horrible bike
