I think my bike is faltering - is there anybody out there who would mind casting a view? Note that links do not appear to be working but will if you paste them into your browser by clicking on the video thumbnail, right clicking and choosing 'Copy video URL'

    Chuntering at 2000rpm or so

    Chuntering at idle

Have checked throttle balance after running up to temperature for 15 minutes and, whilst they seem nearly balanced , the SW is constantly oscillating between 'In balance' and 'Out of balance' (presumably due to some other fault affecting the engine which I am beginning to suspect is one of the coil packs being faulty)

    Ta.

Thanks Littleade - yes it's booked in - just trying to prevent a bill for investigation if it turns out it is not a warranty issue. Bike was first registered 22/08/2019 and which I bought on 13/02/2020 with 748 miles on it. Have just completed a sixty mile trip today and it's definitely a lurcher.

Sounds like it’s only firing on three cylinders...

The fuel isn’t old or from a dodgy source is it?

I diagnose gummy injectors and prescribe snake oil to venomate them. They’re all mostly naphtha/paraffin based.

Horticulturally speaking, I think I'm going to ignore all of you and go with Sweet Pea....with that in mind, have started drinking lemonade and vodka and will try that in the tank. Should be 95 octane at least. Have been researching a fair bit and the likely culprits are (a) air leak between throttle body and head (Carl Rosners in Croydon are apparently the experts on this) or (b) dodgy coil pack. So will try Lucas Ungum (ta DD), Redex (ta Callumity), sweet pea/vodka (ta Thrip) and finally warranty repair (Ta Triumph (but only when you have ferkin fixed it).
