Yes it was a good day I could have stopped every couple of miles to take a photo the scenery is awesome and the bike is surprising comfortable on a long run.

A Little Lane, the brook runs close beside
And spangles in the sunshine while the fish glide swiftly by
And hedges leafing with the green spring tide
From out their greenery the old birds fly …

Looks like a beautiful day and a beautiful ride, glassbacken! :sun: Thanks for sharing your photos and your ride with us. I particularly like the photo of the sheep coming down the road. I can honestly say I've never had to pull over on a ride to let a flock of sheep pass by. :):joy:

The road with the sheep is the B6254 between Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale. Much better than the A65 But you you do have to keep an eye out for the local wildlife

Looks like a perfect ride. Great pics.
I certainly hope those furry things had their emissions controls on, you might have more than road grime to clean up... :p

Yes there was a lot of muck on the road but still a better alternative to the A road and more scenic.

How are you liking your Shoei Glamster helmet? I've been pondering for while on getting one.

Glad you are finding the Speed Twin comfortable on long journeys. I'm finding it not so comfortable, but I do still love my Speed Twin.

The helmet is the lightest and most comfortable lid I've owned however, I did find it noisy the first time on.I think it was down to me not putting my ear plugs in correctly, all seems okay now. I'm surprise you find the bike uncomfortable, I have a bad back bad knee, bad neck and shoulder, I could go on as I'm 66 and full of aches and pains! I don't really suffer from a sore backside though whatever bike I'm on!
