Despite Eurotunnel's best efforts (3 hour delay, tracks were too hot or something ) we're in France, albeit in the car. Set the satnav to get us to Rouen avoiding péage, and it came up trumps again. Seen scenery l never knew existed so close to Calais. Looks like Forum lnternational Trip 2019 is germinating :grinning:
So we are in Rouen tonight, lovely city. Then on to La Rochelle tomorrow as we wend our way towards Spain. Play nicely, l'm watching you :p

Yep great city, I was there last year on my French road trip. Pictures brought back some good memories as well. Safe riding mate.

In hotel in La Rochelle-little rhyming couplet there. Lovely drive across, well done Tomtom. Passed a place called Thouars that looked interesting, just debating booking a second night here. On the way across the air temp gauge peaked at 39.5  and l've not brought any string vests :grinning:

Make one out of French plumb lines Jack. All the hardware stores must have thousands of unused new old stock items! :p

Was supposed to be going to Rouen on Saturday.
But with a 5 hour delay at Eurotunnel (would have put us to the hotel at 5am) we decided to cancel our trip......bugger

Last minute change of plan, one night only in la Rochelle. Something l notice more and more in France is the drunks and professional slobs who think putting a neckerchief on a dog allows them to accost you for money. Everywhere you go. Non stop yesterday to Spain so get a few jobs done and try to fix this Sprint so l can use it :)

Some nice bikes in la Rochelle. Light not so good though

I think local TOMCC were out. I passed three bikes parked in a line-T120, Scrambler, Bobber. And an original T140 but the background light screwed the pic.

    Not a bike.....

We had a week at La Rochelle a couple of years ago - very nice place with lots to do and loads of good bars and resto's.
