After years on cruisers(Triumph America, Honda VTX and 1200 Speedmaster I am now the proud owner of a gen 2 Tiger Explorer 1200. Wow its epic, brilliant engine, its fast, smooth, comfy for two and the fueling is perfect. No jerkiness at low speed and pulls like a train in any gear. Yes it is a bit top heavy but that disappears on the move. Just need to get some engine bars (just in case). Any recommendations for engine bars, exhaust or any other extras are mor than welcome.
Did the same change myself a few years back. No regrets! SW Motech bars are good as previously mentioned. Mine came with the Triumph lowers already. Watch for the bad/weird wear on those Metzlers in the front. Don't think I even got 6K kms out of mine. Uploaded a pic with them mounted on mine as well as the brand new Dunlop Trailmax Missions
