I'm on a mission to get this bike on the road this month having just bought it as a project, turned out all that was wrong with it was the tilt switch (took a gamble and it paid off, never happens) so got excited and serviced it, new plugs, air filter, oil n filter, but when building it i noticed that some airbox hoses and plugs to be plugged in weren't undone by me, so i plugged in plugs, and 2 hoses into airbox, now it starts fine, and idles lovely for 10-15 seconds then it starts revving higher like way up, checked throttle cables, checked plugs, have i put in a hose that isn't meant to be in airbox?
Hi Laurie, My gut feeling with this is that the mixture is Rich for starting but then not leaning off like it should as it warms up. So could be a temperature sensor somewhere.
