Oh boy!! You’ve left yourself open here!! Before it gets silly have a look at sw motech Uk e bay page, or rentech, they are a bit similar but I doubt you’d find these for bonneville as the are designed for those bm cylinders. Maybe you could adapt the bm ones
The trouble with the Bonnie is the slimness of the engine. Any engine bars will need to stick out a mile to be useful from what I've seen. Nice looking bike DD! You are right, these are not really crash protection and offer no more protection than an engine bung / nylon standoff. TBH they look a bit naff
