I need some advise please. I have a cracked crankcase on my 2018 Street Scrambler and I want to replace it with used crankcase from a 2012 Bonneville part number T1160118. The part number on my 2018 street scrambler is T1163042. Does anybody know if the 2012 crankcase will fit on my Street scrambler. From the research that I've done it looks almost identical, however I cant find any information on the internet that say it is interchangeable.

    Cheers

    Andre

I would be surprised if it would fit, the 2012 Bonneville is an air-cooled model and your street scrambler is water cooled. I understood that the engine was completely redesigned for the water-cooled models

Looking at the two crank cases on Fowler’s parts site, based on those part numbers they look very different.

Just another thought, before buying one half of the crankcase, make sure that they are not fitted as a matched pair. I was under the impression that the cases are line bored as a matched pair.
