Today I have a lot of plans. In the morning there was an extremely hypothermic journey at -4 degrees Celsius over 65 km to the office. At noon it goes then with approx. +8 degrees back home. Arrived there I will change from my Honda to my Bonnie. Together it goes then over 100 km with my wife on our Bonnies to Styria to our motorcycle dealer (www.gesslbauer.at) of confidence. Her Bonnie gets the final touches today. She has the original Pirelli Phantom changed to Bridgestone BT-46 and also mounted a main stand. After several rides with my Bonnie she was convinced of the Bridgestone tires and decided for this early change at just over 5,000 km total mileage of her Bonnie. Afterwards we will go back home and warm up again with tea and some other drinks. So today I come to about 330 km with my 2 bikes at moderate temperatures. But dry weather is announced for the whole day.
We made it. The ride to our dealer was interesting. Next to the roads we had some snow and therefore also the equal temperatures. But it was great. During the assembly of my wife's Bonnie we walked through the whole company. We talked with our dealer about the big amount of bikes in his "shop". He started with 700 brand new bikes this year. About 4 weeks ago he organized an exhibition. Result: more then 100 bikes were sold till today. In the following I'm coming up with some impressions of our visit there. The "finished" Bonnie of my wife . Triumph Rocket 3R Triumph RR1200 A real race bike for €30.000.- from the race team of our dealer. Surroundings nearby the company. Gadgets for "small" Triumphants. The new "assembly hall". The "bike heaven" - the center of the shop. A so called "Gesselbauer-Special-Bobber"
