Cool idea

Ok yeah! But for someone who bought some winter tyres 3 years ago and has done approx 120 miles on them, I can't see them being a useful investment.

 

That's because we're living down south crispey - it never snows here and if it does it's only ever 1/2" of piss - wet sludge but it still brings London to a standstill, makes the national news and closes Heathrow!

 

Beats me how we have a threat of 1" (25mm for you young ones) or less of snow and the whole country goes into panic mode. Headline news on TV or radio

Now when I was a lad we had proper snow fall and we just got on with it, schools never shut everyone got to work somehow, no fancy big plastic shovels, vehicles had skinny cross ply tyres, no heaters etc.
Now them were the days

 

I think this is a brilliant idea. 15 mins to convert your ordinary 4x4 into a real snowmobile. EXCELLENT!
