Hey people, I have a 2018 street triple RS. A couple of times now when I’ve been out and then went to start it, nothing happens. I rock it back and forth in gear then it fires up ok.
Think it could be the clutch switch.

anyone had same issue, can it be cleaned up or better to replace and if so can it only be a triumph part ?

    any help is always appreciated

Doesn't sound like the clutch switch to me. The way to test your clutch switch is next time it doesn't start, bridge the contacts of the clutch switch with something like a small screwdriver or a small coin, anything conductive that'll fit in the gap.

Hi Andy. I've struggled to get to the bottom of an intermittent starting issue. Long story short, finally found the clutch switch moves away from the holding slot and failing to operate. Today, after giving the bike a wash, I've fitted a cable tie to hold it in to position. Triumph kept saying fitting aftermarket levers can cause this.
