Hello, Have a 2019 T120 with low mileage (2500 miles). Clutch handle//lever is clicking when quickly changing gears. Feel the click through my hand and may hear it. If I gently shift no click? Otherwise everything works fine. Read other posts about clutch cable bends and greasing up pivot bolt and cable end. Have done both with no improvement. I do have the cruise control assembly on the bike. Any ideas or anyone had the same issue. Thanks in advance.
Can you remove the cable from the lever end and then try to "operate" it quickly using pliers? You need to see where the problem actually is. Sounds like a strand of wire getting caught on the lever to me but obviously , just a guess.
Might be from the engine end of the cable. The nipple on the cable end goes into a sorta hook thing that pulls on a lever. Perhaps that area needs cleaning and greasing.
My tiger 900 does the same and I think it is only on down shifts with the quick shifter I do not operate the clutch quickly often enough to consider it a problem, so I have not spent time trying to figure it out
