Always enjoyed your updates, thanks for posting. Congratulations on not falling off (too much), and for getting to the end of the season in one piece. Year off next year? or has the bug bit hard! Even cheap motorsports are not cheap, but mines is still relatively cheap compared to £1000 a meeting That V-twin series should be an aural treat (Ron A - google it before getting excited about BJ's )
It has been most informative and enjoyable reading about your exploits this year. Glad to hear that you are going to continue next year, even if in an abridged format. We are our own worst critics when things don't go to plan and we need to remember that we never lose, we just learn new stuff to try next time! Have a great off-season, hope all goes well with the refresh and next season will be here all too quick. And don't forget to keep us updated.
Which is exactly what Mrs Unc said when she raided the garden landscape fund to buy the RS! At 63 years old it's anyone's guess how long I can keep racing, so she said we can fix up the garden when I retire and have time to sit in it. (She's and absolute diamond and a keeper!) My budget for the year, excluding breakages, is £2.5k. Unlike the superstreet chaps who are spending £25k + and running low 7 second quarters at over 200mph - but you need to double that to be competitve and run high sixes!
