Ian Bit extreme to just clean a bike. But no you are not alone. We all like to keep them clean. Ride Safe Joe
joe its not going outside again this year and probably going for trade in at beginning of the year so thought id give it the full Monty
Ian You are indeed. They should give you extra for the cleanest trade in in the country. Let us all see the finished steed or you should list it in the projects forum. Regards Joe.
You are obviously extremely fastidious. Perhaps you would like to come and clean my bikes ? P.S. I don't know exactly what fastidious means I just thought it sounded good and I wanted to show @Callumity that other people can use fancy words.
I'm not quite that bad but I have two winter bikes that are so clean that I cannot bring myself to ride them on the dirty, salty roads! Has completely defeated the point of me buying them.
I’m completely anal about the condition of my bikes, I clean mine about every other ride, I can’t help it I just love a spotless original bike, I always have. I also go to extreme lengths, at least once a year, I’ll have it up on stands and remove the wheels, bodywork etc to give it a deeper clean, I also try and avoid riding it in the rain or grease, sometimes it is unavoidable and then the clean afterwards can take hours. Here is my old Fireblade with the front fairing removed so I can get to the engine and top of the forks to clean it all properly My wife thinks I’m a nutter!
