Hey pretty new to biking ..... but was doing some work last week on street triple r 2010 and noticed under the tank where relays and that are. Was an opened ended connector ...... am guessing it must be for charging the battery ?
I forgot to photo it ..... but wondered if these are standard fittings on these bikes and if so what type of battery charger to buy that has mating fittmnet ?

    thanks

If you can't follow it back to the battery I think you'll find that's the diagnostic socket
A picture would help to be sure

Yes you will find it is the diagnostic socket and there should be another that they fit an alarm to. They don't fit charger leads. But easy enough to do.

As Ade suggests, get yourself an Optimate. They are easy to set up. If you don't have access to an electrical socket near the bike then Oxford do a decent solar charger - Halfords stock them.
