Changing the Oil Cooling Radiator.

Hey guys, I have a 2001 ST Sprint and the OCR is leaking. I've been riding about a year and have no mechanical experience so I just wanted to check a few things before I try to replace it.

1, Is it worth trying to patch/repair it?

2, I've been looking at replacement units on eBay, would this be an ok place to get one and would it need to be from a 2001 model exactly or would something from say a 2004 model fit ok?

3, Are there any tips or likely problems I should be aware of before I remove the current OCR?
