I need a centre stand for my TWAT Tiger 800 ABS Been looking and getting confused at all the different models of this bike Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated Cheers Dilligaf
You know the year, model and VIN so you can id the OEM part no from World of Triumph/Fowler’s website and see which other variants it fits. Or is that too much like hard w**k?
IIRC the centre stands for the generation1 (which yours is Dilli) and gen2 Road models are the same. Possibly the gen3 model also. Just be careful you don’t buy a XC model centre stand,it may be to long. Some peeps complain that putting a T800 is very hard and I know someone who torn his calf muscle just doing that. Edit: I’ve just read that the T800 centre stands were modified in 2012,don’t know if this is correct.
May have been a rubber stopper but not rubber seat. On both of the T800’s I’ve owned going over speed humps still produces a clank
Dilli, get yourself over to the Tiger 800 forum, Tiger800.co.uk a guy posted in the wanted section for one and one was offered to him but by which time he’d already bought one. Although it was taken off a 2011 model,it’s well worth popping in regularly to see what’s on offer by the inmates.
Typical mcn full of bikers, Jez. They call it a rubber boot, motorcyclists call it a stopper Believe me they still clank if your not careful
I’ve been looking a few times and can never seem to find what I’m looking for The writing is so small on my phone and I just find the forum itself difficult to navigate
Hold the phone, yer can have us looking at a feckin million pages of stuff yer make fer nudger and yer can’t knock summat up fer yer twat wi yer angle grinder an welder.
getting my 800 onto the centre stand can be hard work. It can be even harder getting it off it sometimes! but the tiger 800 forum is a great place for picking up bits and pieces What phone you got Dilli, someone will be able to tell you how to make the type larger. Or wear your glasses you vain twat
@dilligaf not looked into it but saw this reduced Don’t know if it comes with fittings or is removable but fairly cheap
