Hi All Advice or words of wisdom required! The 09 T100 EFI I've just brought has some scratching along the side of the right hand silencer. Shame as bike is immacculate otherwise. I enquired about a new silencer - £250-£300 depending on who you ring. So I take it off and take it to a very well known bike part plater who does some lovely work. Used him before. He says it'll polish and plate a treat - £50. But he's nervous about whats in the silencer as the acid bath could damage it. I believe the CAT is on the downpipe on the bike, theres no obvious way of extracting the baffle etc. Anyone tried this before before I consider asking him to plug the ends and have a go. I'm resigned to buying a can really if I'm honest - but interested in what everyones opinions are. Regards Mark
