By that I mean International Forum Trip 2019 Personally I'd love to do the Picos de Europa next year. I know some of you will have done this and/or the Pyrenees before. The Brittany Ferries prices are out for 2019 and that's what got me thinking. So I'm wondering if anybody would be interested in going next year to either or both destinations. I'm happy to either travel about or use a fixed base, whatever. Any takers ?
Been to the Picos at about 6 times, love the place. Great roads and scenery,it’s the real Spain sometimes known as green Spain , non of this Costa, not coffee, shite. I don’t think it would hurt if I went again so put my name down if it’s a goer. I don’t think it will be a goer as it’s quite expensive to get there with Brittany ferries but the earlier you book the cheaper it is due to Brittany Ferries operating a fluid pricing system.
I looked at prices for mid June 2019, with four in a cabin I got a price of £343 each. I'm not suggesting we go in June, we could go in September ? I was just after a guide price. As @Tiglet said the earlier you book the better. So we need to make our minds up pretty quick. I'm a definite and so is Tiglet, can anyone else commit or do you want more meat on it ? Like hotel prices for instance ? Wayne, Mark, Eric & Dave - Can you express some preferences ? One base ? Touring round ? Two star hotels ok ? Mountains only ? Mountains and Coast ? Picos only ? Picos and Pyrenees ? About a week ? A week there plus ferry time ? When ?
I'll give it some thought as I like the idea of the destination. Not so keen on a long ferry crossing though. Four hours from Dieppe to Newhaven bored the arse of me so can't see me warming to 24 hours!
