I was really impressed with the guys at Bulldog Triumph this weekend. As I was down in Wokingham visiting my aged mother ( about 200 miles from home ) my Triumph Scrambler developed a bad misfire after filling up with fuel at a well known supermarket. I took the bike popping and farting into Bulldog Triumph at 3.30 on Saturday afternoon. They got onto it right away once I explained that I was 200 miles from home. It turns out to be bad fuel in the tank, goodness knows what it was - it smelled vaguely like petrol but the bike would only just run. After an hour the workshop had drained the tank fitted a new fuel filter and sent me on my way. The staff were all friendly and patient with a bloke that just turned up unannounced late on a Saturday afternoon. A really big thanks to these guys!
Thats how ALL Triumph dealers should be. It would be a nice gesture to send them a letter to say thanks. hopfully they will keep up there good work. Well Done BulldogTriumph.
Great to hear that, rekindles faith in the dealer race. As Wayne says drop em a line of thanks and let them know you mentioned them on the web!
Bulldog's are my local dealer and they've always been great. On a number of occasions I've popped in there to check about something not quite right with whatever Triumph I had at the time. Invariably they've then taken the bike into the workshop and sorted it out there an then. Always very friendly and give great service in general.
It sounds to me like they deserve to receive a letter from you that they can frame and put on their wall. Words of thanks are all well and good but a letter is soooooooh much more impactive and meaningful.
