Build Slash Tips ?

Hi!
Running stock peashooter exhaust on my 2004 Bonneville. Air delete was performed and carbs were re-jetted by previous owner.Cat delete has been performed as well.
I'm looking at deleting the peashooter and doing a DYI build of 2 slash-cut shorties about 10" long.
Looking to wake her up.I've experienced a lot of Harleys,and spoke to many riders about noise enforcement with the local constabulary...not an issue.
Any guidance or recommendations would be appreciated....
