After working through the heat wave / drought time has finally come fo a weeks R&R and you've guessed it it's pissing it down here in North Devon. :frown:

For the first time I thought I would bring the Triumph with me on the familly holiday with the Mrs taking the car and kids; rode 230 miles yesterday most of which were on the god awful M5. May just have to put my water proofs on and brave it as the mother-in-law is stopping with us

Managed a late evening ride today when the rain finally stopped. First pic is Putsborough Beach, next is Woolacombe Beach, and the last is Lyton. Roads were strewn with gravel washed onto the roads from the storms earlier.

Well done RichardH, its nice to see a bike being used in all weathers - unlike the forum of polishers in white boots that I also frequent! :upyeah:

You're with me on the white boots thing, then? Will you have to get some when you trade down to the Blade?

Rode down what they call the Atlantic Highway today on the bike, called in at Boscastle, Tintagel and then on to Padstow. Never seen so many tourists crammed into one place as Padstow..... Must have been 50 people queuing for takeaway fish and chips at Rick Steins place
There are some nice roads to ride in this area but I dont recommend it during School holidays as the roads are just jammed with traffic
