As some of you maybe aware I got these two headlights from fleabay for £16.99 each The idea is to make a set of twin headlights for my BPOS to give it a Storm kinda look made this crossbar but can't get the lights to line up properly so I've had a rethink and....., ....pinched this off the prison bar headlight currently fitted to the BPOS needs filing flat because it's curved to take the headlight started to make a new design crossbar Will keep pictures coming as I progress
Ok....as I've already said the first crossbar I made would throw the headlights all too cock so after a trial run this is what I'm going with A sturdy bit of flat metal bar Made a location dowel out of a bolt and welded it in place drilled the necessary holes and used epoxy resin and a countersink bolt to hold it altogether couldn't weld it because one parts aluminium and one parts steel started dressing it up and hopefully get it painted later today The bottom two pictures should have been the other way around but you get the idea
Just made these They go inside the lights so I can tighten them up without being inside the light bowls Means I can hold the lights in position and tighten them to the crossbar without them twisting out of alignment
Bit of red oxide primer should do the trick Will paint it tomorrow...Hmmmm...but what colour????....I know ....SATIN BLACK
The new improved bra from Ann summers. Tucker Are I see you have got the new nipple Twister's as well Tucker
Thanks mate but let's wait and see what they turn out like If I don't like them then they won't be going on the BPOS
Ooooh...satin BLACK Have left the lens clamps gloss BLACK hoping for a nice contrast between the lens/clamp/bowl waiting for some metal badges to arrive from fleabay which I intend to affix to the lenses So started messing with designs on the front of the lenses and have decided to go with this design but won't know what or if I like them until the badges are here
Ok....was gonna post these as I went along but couldn't get on the forum So the badges came this morning Decided to get rid of the BLACK T shape on the lenses and put the badges on by themselves....I've mounted them slightly lower than centre paint dried nicely overnight so being careful not to scratch anything I started the assembly The clamp screw and nut that holds the lens to the bowl was a right pig of a job You need 4 hands so got a mate at work to help me Even though we're busy This is them finished I'm well pleased with how they've turned out and although you can't see it in these pictures I think the contrast between lens/gloss clamp and satin bowls gives them a product look anyway I'm chuffed at the end product Now comes the bloody wiggly amps bit Might have a go on Sunday....but I might not I'm out for a meal Saturday night and depending how much I drink (hee hee ) will determine if they get fitted or not Next picture will be them fitted to the BPOS But don't hold your breath
Wow Dill looking bloody good there mate. When do we see the pictures with them on your BPOS.... Wessa
