    Liking that :upyeah:
    Mine was red but looked about the same.

    Dream bike was an air cooled GSX1100 in a Spondon or Moto Martin frame.

    I remember many years ago riding a mates one flat out on the South Eyre Road in New Zealand, These things could really shift.
    I at the time owned a gsx400r in the same colour.
    But think it may feel a bit small for me now ;)

  7. You mean like this one roadrider ?

    Yep! that'll do :upyeah::biggrin:
    Just the job for a quick blat to the caff on a sunny Sunday.
    Have to change the colour though,purple's not my favorite.

  9. It's all matte black now !
    It was built by my best mate, sadly, he was killed a few years ago on his other bike, on his way to work.
    It is nearly all handbuilt in his garage, he even made the pipe bender that he made the frame with ! He started with a headstock from a gsxr1100 frame, and worked backwards..
    It has an oilcooled GSXR1100 turbo motor, again the plenum etc was all handmade.
    I spent many an happy hour chasing him around the roads of Yorkshire, and some fantastic times over at the Isle of man.
    It would wheelie on the throttle in top gear at 140mph, 200bhp at the wheel :cool:
    Another mate has it now, but not seen it for a few years unfortunately.

    It's certainly a good looking bit of kit.
    Be good if you could track it down.
