Hi all - my Bike is going in for a service later today, and I have a booster plug fitted. Given that the technician I just spoke to on the phone doesn't appear to know what I'm talking about, should I be asking them to disconnect the plug for the service and then reconnect it afterwards, or will it not matter so far as diagnostics are concerned?

I don't think the booster plug will make any difference to diagnostics. If the dealer doesn't make any noises about warranty violation I'd leave it in. According to the manufacturer, all the booster plug does is present a different air temperature reading to the ECU to that from the OEM sensor so it richens the fuel mixture slightly.

Yes, it proved not to be a problem at all.
