    Hi everyone
I’m new to the forum and am planning of doing some short trips on my Bonnie T120 this year. I’m having a bit of a dilemma when it comes to luggage. I am a fan of my Kreiga US dry pack 20L and wondering whether I should extend the system by buying a couple more US dry packs OR go for some saddlebags like the Kriega Duo (if I can find them) or even the Legend Motech which would extend the system though not by as much and cost more.

The US dry pack system is cheaper to and more versatile, I am wondering if having the weight on top rather than by the sides will impacting handling much - can’t be any more than having a pillion on was my thinking. Anyway I probably have not considered something and would welcome any views ideas or preferences from anyone on the forum.

    thanks Alan

Going back about 7 years I owned a standard Bonneville Newchurch.
With the wife as pillion we used Kriega Duo soft panniers, I can't recall the capacity now, and had the Kriega 30 and 20 litre dry packs strapped together on the rack to carry all our gear to Spain and France a few times.
Although we were well loaded down there were no problems whatsoever, in any respect.
Granted I was not riding to any extremes, we were on holiday and not on a machine given to riding on the edge, so I can't truthfully give any worthwhile opinion as to the effect on the handling .
I can however state that the Kriega kit was completely waterproof and more than up to the job.
I would have no hesitation at all in recommending their products or using them again for any journey requiring transportation of clean, dry luggage.

I have a set of Triumph bags somewhere that i have made adapters to use as throw overs if you don't have rails. If interested give me a shout with an offer including postage.
