Bonneville Speedmaster Speedo Fixings

Afternoon Peeps - the service page for removing the top yoke says to 'discard the two outer fixings' (that screw into the yoke, underneath). Aren't they just Allen bolts? Why must they be thrown out? Dare I ask it, can I use 'ordinary' Allen bolts as replacements?

Please, be gentle - I'm no mechanical type!

Well, after some considerable interweb time, I found:

T3050331 - TRIUMPH - Screw, Cap / Hd, M6 x 16, Slv, Enc (£1.27)

I think these are the right ones, so I'll order some.

Also, to hijack my own thread, I susbscribed to the service manual and only got 1 month for six quid. (!) I had believed I could download & print the manual easily enough... I am, of course, very nieve. I can't print anything as that function is blocked and I can only download a page at a time. I'm not sure I'd live long enough to download the whole manual. (Apparently, a PDF version was available before, but I seem to have missed the boat. Sigh.)
