sorry if this is a novice or stupid question, but after months of not being able to ride due to a non-biking injury, I am getting back into the saddle and looking at a Bonneville Newchurch 2015 (15) reg. but on looking at some sites and sales, some bikes seem to have only 1 dial whilst others have two, is this a date of manufacture thing or special edition thing? Any feedback appreciated.
My 2015 Newchurch has the single speedo with no rev counter which is, I believe the standard factory specification. Conversion kits to twin dials are available, but I'm with Half ton on this one, I like the simplicity and clean lines of the standard set up Curly
Hi, glad to hear you're able to be riding again. I've a 2016 plate Newchurch bought from new. They come with just the one instrument ( speedo etc) but you can get the Triumph conversion for the rev counter... can't recall how much but I wasn't tempted as its more distraction from the road and I go on engine note not a dial to tell me when to change gear.. I fitted a Dart flyscreen and mirror arm extensions (2 cms) from Square Deals which make all the difference to seeing whats behind you... the flyscreen adds another 10mph on your comfort speed so would recommend both. I bought leather panniers with the bike which give it some 'tourability' and overall I love my red & white Newchurch. Hope useful. Cheers
Thanks for feedback everyone, but ended up going for a great deal on a 2016 Street Twin and pick it up this coming Friday.
I had the same doubt weeks ago between a Newchurch and a Street Twin... in my case the Newchurch wins. Good luck with that ST. Post a pic!

Dropped my iPad with pics on it, so it's in getting a new screen, bloody expensive, but as soon as I have it back I will post some pics.
