Welcome to the forum. I don't know the answer to your question, but other members will come along and some may have advice for you.
Not sure about this Wendy but I think Speedmaster handlebars are a bit narrower and straighter and would fit straight onto your bike You just gotta find some....eBay??
I have a 2005 Speedmaster with the standard handlebars. If you can wait until tomorrow night, I'll measure the bars and get back to you with the measurement.....
In case your interested... I found that the bars were a bit of a reach for me so I fitted pull back risers to my 2005 Speedmaster. I didn't have to change the cables. It raised the bars and brought them back a couple of inches. Here's my previous post regarding fitting pullback risers:- https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/swapped-stock-2005-risers-for-newer-model-risers.5427/ I also found the footpads a bit of a stretch too. So here's another previous post of mine regarding fitting a footage relocation kit... https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/fitted-footpeg-relocation-kit-to-my-speedmaster…….5666/
OK, I've measured the width of my 2005 speedmaster's handlebars. I measured from the middle of the left handgrip directly across to the middle of the right handgrip. So this will be where the middle of your hands would be. The distance straight across is 26" .... hope this helps.
Are they 1” or 7/8? I’m about to do the same swap to tec type b bars but have a feeling that I need 1” for the switches and grips?
